Program Details
The AANEM State Liaison Program is a network of physicians charged to actively communicate concerns to payors regarding quality electrodiagnostic medicine.
Participants chosen for the State Liaison Program attend a full-day training event and:
- Learn about the importance of physician involvement in payor relations.
- Discuss the reimbursement issues facing electrodiagnostic medicine physicians.
- Become familiar with AANEM resources that are available to educate payors about quality electrodiagnostic medicine.
Each of the State Liaisons is charged with educating medical directors, claims adjusters, nurse reviewers and their peers about the importance of quality electrodiagnsotic medicine.
The meeting will take place in late February or early March.
All travel, hotel, and food expenses are paid for by the AANEM.
